Alpha Mini, also called Wukong, is a pocket-sized educational humanoid from UBTech, standing 24.5cm and weighing 700g with 14 joints. It dances, does push-ups and practises tai chi, recognises faces with a 13-megapixel camera and makes 4G video calls, while block-based programming lets a child choreograph moves in minutes. A 4-hour battery suits it to home learning and play.
