BRUCE is a compact open-source biped co-developed by UCLA's RoMeLa and Westwood Robotics, a 70cm, 4.8kg robot that turns the lab into a playground. Despite its size it packs 8Nm of burst torque for athletic jumping, across 16 degrees of freedom. It's built as an accessible research and education platform for dynamic locomotion.
