The JOUAV CW-25E is a VTOL fixed-wing hybrid drone designed for large-area mapping and long-range infrastructure survey missions. With 210 minutes of flight time and a 200km operational range, it covers vast territories in a single sortie without runway or catapult requirements — simply launch and recover from any open area. The CW-25E carries up to 2.5kg of interchangeable payload including photogrammetry cameras, LiDAR scanners, and multispectral sensors for forestry, agriculture, and infrastructure survey applications. PPK (post-processed kinematic) GNSS post-processing delivers centimeter-level accuracy without ground control points, dramatically reducing fieldwork requirements. JOUAV, headquartered in Chengdu, China, has deployed the CW-25E on projects across China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa — including power line corridor mapping, flood damage assessment, and precision agriculture. At $35,000–$60,000, it offers comparable capability to Western VTOL fixed-wing systems at roughly half the price.
