The Techman TM12 is a 12kg payload collaborative robot (cobot) from Techman Robot, a Taiwanese manufacturer and subsidiary of Quanta Computer — one of the world's largest laptop manufacturers. The TM12's defining feature is its built-in 5-megapixel AI vision system, which enables vision-guided pick-and-place, barcode reading, and defect detection without an external camera or vision controller, significantly reducing integration cost and complexity. With a 1,300mm reach and ±0.05mm repeatability, the TM12 covers medium-sized workspaces suitable for machine tending, assembly, and inspection applications. Techman's TMflow visual programming environment uses a flowchart-based interface that allows process engineers without robotics backgrounds to create and modify robot programs. At $28,000–$42,000, the TM12 positions between Chinese cobots ($15K–$25K) and Western brands (UR10e at $50K+), offering integrated vision as a differentiator.
